Profile
Lilia is a Singaporean designer based in Brighton, UK.
The desire to look closer, burrow deeper, dream, think and remember lies at the heart of each collection.
I work with artists and designers from various disciplines to engage in positive design art activism. We seek to produce works of beauty, thought and honesty that present a gentle way to perceive and interact with the world, treading as lightly as possible on it.
The studio is a creative lab where we research into ways we can minimize our impact on the environment, throughout the garment's lifecycle, while maintaining a high standard of quality and design.
Cutting techniques are continuously developed to minimize seaming and waste fabric while achieving maximum impact through FORM and subtle details.
A conscious effort is made to source sustainably and ethically where appropriate. All work is made ethically within the UK.
